The National Drilling Company (NDC) is one of the largest drilling contractors in the Middle East, providing its customers with quality drilling, work over and well maintenance services. Established in 1972, NDC was the first venture among the ADNOC Group of Companies. NDC now operates 16 jack-up offshore rigs, 9 island rigs, and 33 onshore rigs, a Multi-Purpose Service Vessel, as well as five water well rigs surveying the ground water of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. NDC takes pride in their record of providing safe, healthy working conditions while protecting the environment and safeguarding assets.
The remuneration package includes tax-free salary and work allowances, fully paid 28/28 ON & OFF rotation, air ticket for each rotation, hotel accommodation during field break transfers, bonus scheme and end-of-service benefit.
• Please note that IWCF certification can be obtained later.
Rig Managers - (Offshore/Onshore)
• Prefers college graduate, secondary or high school attainment is acceptable.
• 15 years’ experience onshore or Offshore oil rig drilling operations, including 5 years as Toolpusher
• Valid IWCF Certification - Supervisor level.
• Computer literate, robust health.
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
Assistant Rig Managers - (Offshore/Onshore)
• Prefers college graduate, secondary or high school attainment is acceptable.
• 10 years’ experience onshore or Offshore oil rig drilling operations, including 5 years as Night pusher
• Valid IWCF Certification Supervisor level.
• Computer literate, robust health.
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
Driller - (Offshore/Onshore)
• Prefers college graduate, secondary or high school attainment is acceptable.
• 8 years’ experience onshore or Offshore oil rig drilling operations, including 3 years as Driller
• Valid IWCF Certification Driller level.
• Supervise and carry out the drilling and other work in connection with the drilling operations.
• Keep the Rig Manager informed about the progress, and consult him in matters of importance for a safe and efficient operation.
• Check and maintain the drilling equipment in compliance with maintenance practices. Ensure periodic inspections of the derrick and all related equipment
Chief Rig Mechanic (Offshore/Onshore)
• Certificate in mechanical/automotive technology or High School diploma.
• Maintenance and repair of all engines and equipment on assigned rig covering diesel engines, air compressors, pumps, draw-works and B.O.P. Services, diagnoses faults, divert and carry out necessary repairs.
Chief Rig Electrician (Offshore/Onshore)
• Certificate in Electrical Technology or High School diploma.
• Maintenance and repair of all electrical maintenance of engines and equipment on assigned rig covering caterpillar generators etc., diagnoses faults, divert and carry out necessary repairs.
